  1. Very true my friend. All I say as a zx6r owner is buy one as they are crazy. Flat out in 1st you will get over 80mph easy as it red lines at 17 and a half thousand rpm and has a max rev of 20k. NUTS

  2. Haha, I’m looking into getting a 250r which isn’t to bad on the wallet as far as insurance goes as far as I hear, but i’m 16 and it would be in the driveway. haha, damn.

  3. Insurance on this bike is gonna be less than the 636 verision of the zx6r because the 36 extra cc’s puts you in a whole other insurance bracket but its still not gonna be cheap at all, its a sportsbike c’mon. I think the 153 was per month, but I dont think a 16 year old would get insurance that cheap unless it was under your parents name.

  4. Really like my bike, I did the Jumper Mod, opened the stock exhaust, and unhooked the exhaust butterfly servo, put on a set of Bridgestone BT016 rubber and had my suspension tuned for my weight and riding position. I runs strong and handles great. Couldn’t be happier with it. Next thing will be a set of stainless brake lines

  5. @wowcrazy70 sounds like you don’t have full coverage and yeah, the zx 6r is a supersport so the insurance is about 1000. the 250r and the 650r are sport bikes. i have a 650r and i pay 400+ a yr partial coverage was around 150.

  6. @speeder741 I sat on K8-K9 Suzuki GSXR, 2008 Kawasaki ZX6R, 2010 Kawasaki ZX6R, 2008 Honda CBR600, and 2007 Yamaha R6; and I find the seating on the 08 ZX6 the best. I’m 5’7/5’8 and own an 04 ZX6RR. I don’t recommend this bike if your short or my height. It’s quite big. If your looking for a bike still, or own one already. Find and get the most comfortable one.

  7. @msharksb I personally know people who pay about $25.00 a month from State Farm. Currently have Geico and paying 10x more. Planing on switching as soon a possible to State Farm.

  8. @Teshuler A friend of mine dropped his bike an inch and Handling made a big difference; in a negative way. I wish to have them Stainless Brake Lines one of this day.

  9. @46DOCTOR46 got to agree with you in the uk you cant ride that bike never mind get insurance if your 16 lol

  10. @kftkft sheeeesh 1700 big ones for 3rd party insurance bend over and pay up sport mines 190 fully comprehensive for a 636 ,be carefull if your bikes on finance you have to have comp insurance incase you drop it it gets paid to the finance company

  11. @kftkft lol cheeky git anyway if you earned that kind of benjamins you would have bought the bike outright why would you say im old i started late 20s and have full no claims

  12. best looking bike in the middleweight class and sweet sounding too. don’t see why they don’t have a red version too. the Kawi 250 comes in red.

  13. Mine is exactly like they show riding. I would have to say they are wrong about top end. Mine was factory and just got an exhaust on it and it goes 189mph like it should. Very good bike over all. I can still go out and stomp some ass. It says something when you can out run a trooper charger on it,

  14. @speeder741 It’s 2012 now, and I just bought an 08 ZX6R SE. Love it!!!! Preferred over the newer ones
