Great video! I remember some web site moderator, on some web site saying that they were all “bean counters” and were made sloppy from the get go?? Thank you for this solid conclusive learning session. Please post some more rebuilt cranks now that we know that origionals are perfect. It would be neat to compare different builder’s levels of quality.

Thanks Smokin Joe – I’ve always thought that many triples don’t run as good as in the old days (70’s) and I’ve suspected many of the rebuilt cranks aren’t as good today as they should be ! Will keep you posted !
How much did you pay for the new one??
I’ve had a couple of new ones (3) for a number of years. i paid about $300.00 !
Somehow comparing labyrinth seals to rubber just doesn’t work.
