The sleek and contemporary body styling of the 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250 mirrors that of the Ninja 600. Changes for 2008 include 17-inch wheels, much-improved suspension and a redesigned 249cc parallel-Twin motor.

  1. Are there any internal changes to the 09 model, or is it just external changes?

  2. Hey all.. Im 5’3 ish and weigh at about 110-115 lbs. Will i fit on this bike stock or will i need to lower it? thanks

  3. i really can’t wait to get this bike just wish the economy wasnt crap at the moment

  4. Hey Im thinking about buying this bike here in India where we don’t have many of the other high end bikes. Most common bikes here are 150-200cc bikes so this is still better. And most bikes here are not too big either….

    L=2000mm
    W=600-700mm

    Im 6’6″ and 210 pounds. Would I fit ??

  5. The thing is that most bikes here in India are 150cc bikes which are a little smaller than even this bike. We don’t have bikes over 250cc made here in India. They have to be imported and cost more than double the amount than that in US. That is why Im wondering…

  6. I think that the small cruiser 250’s are pretty great for tall people. Honda and Suzuki etc.

  7. so is this like a traditional crotch rocket that you like lay overr the tank or do you sit up strait like the driver that was on here? please if someone has one and knows for a fact please tell me

  8. Like all the reviews made these peeps. I have a question. I’m 5’7 and weigh in at 170 and I’m deciding between a Honda Entry level bike like the NightHawk and Rebel and this Kawasaki ninja. I’m also looking at a scooter. The sym hd200 and Honda sh150i. Any recomendations? I live in Maui, Hawaii and gas is at an an all time high!… Please help.

  9. ninja 250 hands down. Dont mean to be rude but is the 170 lbs mostly muscle of fat? if your bigger it’ll feel kinda small cause the seat isnt super large. then i’d recommend a higher cc scooter. but try them all out! sit on all the bikes your looking at and try ’em out! greetings from canada

  10. Depends. A scooter is more practical, more storage space for stuff. But if you have a good backpack and you want a bike with a little bit more fun factor. No scooter!
    If its just for fuel economy i’d go for the scooter.
    But like aSignInTheTrees said. Go try out lots… ride them see what feels good. I have a cbr900rr not for fuel economy nor for practicality. But purely for the fun factor. But its really a personal thing.

  11. I think the 2008’s were $3,499 MSRP, and the 2009’s were $3,999 MSRP because they added fuel injection to the 09’s.

  12. im 6’4 muscular i need help on a beginner bike i love the way it looks but not sure if it will be to small for me

  13. @batmanlivez Best way to find out is to go to a local dealer and just sit on one. 🙂 Good luck!

  14. @batmanlivez I’m 6’3″ and 250lbs. I ride the crap out of my 250! I recommend it highly! I have over 13,000 miles on it now, check out my vids of it! 🙂

  15. this is a terribly useless video… i was looking for a review….not a seizure inducing montage….

  16. My first bike was the ’89 ninja 250R, great back then and looks even better todays new models, i highly recomend it for starters on two wheels. safe riding… mates

  17. Are these 250r bikes able to ride on the interstate? I was looking into getting one of these to drive to work. Are these suicide bikes to ride – not enough horsepower to move out of the way of cars?
