I’m having hard time to choose between this and RC200 Ktm. Please help.
Does the leaning forward position is comfortable when having a long ride specially hand and back? Hope you can enlighten me as I will buy next month. Tia
I’ve owned one for a while now and it’s a great fun bike. I’d agree with pretty much everything the reviewer says. Not so sure about the 100mph claim, 90 is probably more accurate.
I swapped out the exhaust for something louder as this is a bike for filtering through traffic and it’s nice to let people know you are there. You have to give a bit more consideration to overtaking as she’s not hugely powerful but, at the end of the day, it’s a 250cc not a proper sports bike. Round town and filtering though this will eat sports bikes for breakfast because she’s so nimble and basically thin so you can squeeze through gaps sports bikes have no hope of.
On the down side mine does occasionally stall at traffic lights but could be the pipe. No big deal though as she starts easy enough.
Brakes and handling are better than you’d expect for the price and she’s surprisingly comfortable though I’m only 5’8″ tall so bigger riders might swamp the poor little thing.
Kawasaki are (possibly were) selling these off cheap and on interest free which makes the think a whole load of fun for virtually no money. An absolute steal.
I also own a Yam MT07 which is another great fun bike and with loads more power but, strangely, I find I ride the little Kawasaki and the MT is sat in the garage.
