  1. just saw your video today. nice video. how do you keep your bike so spotless? I have a 2005 zg1000 and will be changing the oil and fork spring come spring.

  2. cool vid, did you not bother to change the seals? i think my bike needs new fork oil but the seals must be good as theres no leakage.

  3. Thks Tito. Got forks off with a bit of a struggle. They’re now at the shop getting new seals. Axle nut was not fun.

  4. Damn Kawasaki, why weren’t there drain screws at the bottom of the forks like other/older bikes?!

  5. So I have the same bike. Pop the caps off the forks in proper order leaving fork tubes on bike, use 36 grey plastic water supply line from HD that is under $3 and my mightvac to vacuum the oil out. Insert water supply tube so it rests on the bottom where the gunk ends up, it uses all the oil to get all gunk out as you vacuum. No need for me to pull the forks unless I am doing something more major than an oil change in the forks. Replaced fork oil with recommend fresh. Easy quick and works great, what a difference in the ride when you got some old nasty and too light a weight oil in there.
