Kawasaki Ninja is one of the most popular series of the supersports bike around the globe and the range starts from Ninja 300. Bajaj sells Ninja 300 via Bajaj Probiking Showrooms in India and it is also available at the Kawasaki’s independent superbike dealerships. The bike features a 296cc DHOC four stroke power mill that pumps out 38bhp of power at 11000 rpm and 27Nm of power at 10000 rpm. Acceleration and pickup are unmatchable with excellent control. It inherits and proudly features the cutting-edge power, technology and styling of the Ninja Super Sports models. With rider focused ergonomics, styling and a host of characteristics such as fuel injection, liquid cooling and petal disc brakes, it is a bike that never cease to amaze.
Furthermore, the manufacturer also introduced the elder sibling of Ninja 300, Kawasaki Ninja 650R, in the country at competing price. Kawasaki Ninja 650R is propelled by a 649cc displacement, 4-stroke, liquid cooled, DOHC, 8-valve, parallel twin engine. The mill capable enough to belts out a maximum power of 72 PS at 8500 rpm and develops a peak torque of 66 Nm at 7000 rpm. It uses a 6-speed manual gearbox. Each and every element of the firstborn Ninja is bigger and advance than Kawasaki Ninja 300.
The best-selling bike of Kawasaki, Kawasaki Ninja 300, has earned the reputation of being called as the best quarter litre bike ever. The bike is launched in two colours- green and black. The green color is the trademark of Kawasaki’s and dominates the web world and its brochure as well. The Ninja equipped with a full front fairing. The front fairing is crafted in a clever way that covers upside of the engine section and shows half of the engine. The fairing comes in plastic while the fuel tank of the bike is furnished in steel. The mask features the dual lamp headlights with Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) for safety. The Large windscreen is mounted at the top of the mask to protect the rider from wind blasts. Compact and sleek front turn indicators are mounted at the air scoops. Its dashboard is chiselled in analogue format. The three-pod instrument cluster consists of speedometer, trip meter, tachometer and fuel gauge. The instrument console also sports turn indicators, high beam, low fuel, low oil, high oil temperature, choked air filter, and low battery blinkers. Brand logo is pasted at the fuel tank and Iconic Ninja logo is there on air scoops. The body colour is sprayed at front full fairing, mask, full front fender, petrol tank and pillion seat (in green body colour). Rear suspension can’t be sighted easily as it is fitted down under the rider’s seat.
Ninja 300 comes with petal disc brakes and large wheelbase. The flying machine equipped with the largest disc brakes at front and rear end, respectively. The petal disc brakes can standstill the bike with just a push of brakes at any speed. Petal disc brakes provide excellent heat dissipation and braking power. Its 290mm large-diameter front disc is incorporated with balanced action two-piston caliper and gives excellent braking performance and natural, direct feeling at the lever. While, the rear sports a 220mm disc with a two-piston caliper. These petal disc brakes not only seem eye-catching but also ensure superb halting. The 17” low-profile tyres are used for confident handling. Ninja 300 boasts widest tyres and wheelbase. The large wheelbase ensures the best gripping on the road and thus promises great stability as well. In view to providing high-level comfort, it is bestowed with 37mm telescopic front shock absorbers with uncompromised setting ensure that the pitching motion is reduced as well as rider discomfort. In the same way, the machine is provided with Uni-Trak shock absorbers at the rear side, five-time adjustable for various preloads provides great road-holding ability and bump absorption.
