2018 Kawasaki Z900RS Review Rendered Price Specs Release Date.
Kawasaki pulled the wraps off its new Z900RS, a retro-styled motorcycle based on the Z900 platform that recalls the classic Kawasaki Z1. As of this writing, the Z900RS has not been confirmed for the U.S. market, but it has received certification from the California Air Resources Board so it’s only a matter of time before it becomes official.

Not sold on the retro attempt. Love the original KZ style, this is just to modernized. No thanks.
I had a 78 KZ 1000 10 years ago that I restored and modified and it was great but dam when I saw myself on it compared to modern bikes I looked like a bear riding a moped, Lol 220 lbs and 6 ft tall it just looked tiny.
I waited…….now its here, im feeling a little deflated,not close enough to the original for my liking.
Looks like Im buying a Harley after all.
looks pretty damn close to a Yamaha XSR900 which I have but are probably not gonna stay with.. I like the Honda cb1100ex better at this point!
Just missed the mark for me. 110hp , a radiator like a paving slab and a single exhaust. I prefer the original, sorry.
$12,650 ? Too steep. I’ve heard elsewhere that this is a <$8k bike, that sounds more reasonable for a naked commuter bike. CARB certified? I definitely won't be buying one if they are only selling CA bikes in the US. Why pay for a bunch of useless crap that I will just be taking off anyway? I've still got and still ride my 77 KZ1000 so it's not like I'm missing out on anything here. Make it cheap and not loaded down with useless emissions crap so I can modify it to my tastes (make it fun) and I will be taking one home.
