The Kawasaki Versys is a bike that anyone can hop on and go anywhere. It’s as much at home running to 7-11 for a gallon of milk as it is slicing up a twisty backroad. It’s not a sportbike and it’s not a cruiser – it’s a motorcycle, a machine that amazingly doesn’t seem out of its element anywhere.

  1. @pavelow235 I owned a ’07 Versys, and took the bike on a 4500km run. All stock gearing, tires, seat, etc, used the Givi hard bags with a tailpack bag. My first bike, and didn’t have any issues or problems on the trip. Exceded US hwy speeds, handled well in the rain. I would rec. one for a day to day drive, AND a tourer. Hope this helps.

  2. Putting ur foot out on corners , I bet uve done motocross i have and its a hard habit to get out of , Looks a lovely place for a ride .

  3. I own this same bike. Same color, same year. I love the machine. Perhaps the best mix of power, balance, robustness, feel, riding position, style & cost-vs-bang-for-buck in motorcycling. I love my bike. Will never sell it.

  4. Concur with your recommendation to consider a larger windscreen for winter. That, and perhaps wind-guards for the grips, and/or electrically heated grips, and saddle bags. Mine is still bone stock however, and I love it. Best of any motorcycle I’ve owned.
