you can take the helmet lock off and take to have a key made for it for less than twenty bucks

im in the same position as you but ive driven 350’s and i might restore one. they are great bikes. they are a bit heavy, but once you get it moving you can throw it around as much as you want

I have one I’m selling. It ran great last year, but now it has a oil leak, won’t turn on, broken clutch cable, and the throttle won’t work either. Sucks
